SoBe Fridays in NYC….

I LOVE New York summers! There’s always so much to do and so many people to see!
This past Friday, my friend Alex invited me to a SoBe Lifewater summer event in the West Village. I honestly thought it was going to be a small promotional event. I walked in and was blown away by the scale of this event! Guess who showed up and performed, ladies? The cutie petootie…MR. ROBIN THICKE!

If I were a boy…

Sunday night, I decided very very very last minute to go to BEYONCE’s concert (2hrs before the show). I jumped onto craigslist and was hoping I would find something decent. I was lucky and found a pair of tix-great seats @face value price! How crazy is that? Whoohooo!

I took Isi, Yumi Kim’s store manager, as an early Bday present!
We had a BLAST! Jay Z showed up…such a cool surprise!Beyonce was amazing and looked so HOT in Thierry Mugler!

After watching her concert, she inspired me to write this post!
I LOVE fashion, and if I were a boy…

Have a HEART….Give a HEART!

Last night was LUA VIET’s Benefit for Children in Need of Open Heart Surgery event @ Calvin Tran’s shop in Nolita. We had an amaaaazing turn out and our silent auction was a huge success! One of the biggest prize auctioned off was win a dinner for 6 prepared by Top Chef winner, Hung Huynh! Such an awesome prize right?

Our goal was to raise enough money to pay for 5 open heart surgeries and we ended up raising enough to pay for 8! WOW! Yaaaay!

Lua Viet Benefit @ Calvin Tran’s Boutique

This Thursday I will be helping my dear friend, Calvin Tran, with a charity event at his boutique. This benefit hits close to home for us, because it’s helping to raise money to pay for children in need of open heart surgery in Vietnam.

There will be good food…good drinks…& good people helping a good cause! We will also be having a mini fashion show at this event! I will be showing my summer ‘09 collection!
