End of Summer…

I can’t believe summer is almost over. No more cool summer events to attend, no more rooftop parties & BBQs, and no more summer interns at the YK Office =(.

This summer I was blessed to have a great team of interns. I had a couple big projects on my hands that I would seriously be a hot mess without the help of my interns! I’m so bummed that they’re all leaving one by one =(.

Wednesday was Linda’s last day with us. I was very lucky to have Linda (Miss Harvard biz school) this summer! While I was crazy running around trying to get YUMI KIM online shop off the ground and designing my Spring 2010 collection, Linda was busy helping out with the operations of YUMI KIM. Thank goodness!

Night at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden

After 8yrs of living in NYC, I finally made it to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden last night! I went there with my old school YUMI KIM family. I’ve known these people pretty much since the day I started YUMI KIM…wow,it’s been over 4yrs…time sure flies!

YK and the city!

Thursday night I had a girls night out on the town! In NYC, the weekend really starts on Thursday. I always say, Thursday is the new Friday =).

I was in a social mood and felt like dressing up for the night. I was channeling the Carrie Bradshaw look! I rocked a cute dress by Thai designer, Del Pil by Pilpira (check out the huge rose-Oh, so Carrie!),patent Givenchys, and topped it off with a classic Chanel bag. Very sassy & sexy!

First stop was my friend, John’s big 3-0 bash @ Chinatown Brasserie.ME! and the Bday Boy,John aka JDM…aka online marketing wiz!

My last day in KL…
I am a big fan of street vendors’ food! Cheap & oh, so yummy!

Cute little food stalls in the streets. People are enjoying their meal before heading off to work!

KL has an interesting mix of people. You have everything from Malaysians, Chinese, to Arabs.

Met this Buddhist monk in the street and he gave us some Buddha beads as a blessing. Really made my day!
