YUMI KIM & CALVIN TRAN HOLIDAY BASH!

The past few years I’ve always had a small gathering with my YUMI KIM family
to celebrate the holidays. This year, I wanted to switch things up a bit. It’s been a tough year for many of us due to the country’s economic downturn and what’s been going on in the world. I felt there was a need to end this year with a big bash to celebrate that we are all SOLDIERS! We made it past one of the most difficult years in the history of this country…isn’t that a great reason to celebrate & party like rock stars?

I decided to go out with a BIG BANG and throw a fabulous holiday bash with one of my dearest friends,designer Calvin Tran (one of the craziest and coolest people I know)! We threw a huge bash at his fabulous store with our staff and closest friends & family! This is what you get when you mesh rainbows & unicorns, fashionistas, downtown peeps, and financial execs in one big room….a crazy, sexy, cool party!

Ladies plus one night out…

I’m finally back in NYC after 2wks of being away!
Met up with some friends on Thursday to catch up. I really thought it was going to be
a mellow evening…..I was so wrong. It ended up being a silly night to remember .

Such an interesting night! This is what you get when you mix cold meds with alcohol = a great ‘ol silly time! It was such a fun night…maybe because 1/2 the time we were all so messed up from mixing cold meds & alcohol. Not good…ha.

Gen Art Shop NYC- Dec. 2nd

I got back into town Wednesday evening from LA. I literally rushed home, dropped off my bag, took a mini 30minute break to refresh and then jetted off to Gen Art Shop NYC Shopping event. Even though I was so exhausted, I was such a trooper .

I have to say, Shop NYC is my favorite shopping events in NYC. Besides the great vendors selling their goodies at a discounted price, they always have yummy goodies and an open bar…how could anyone say no to attending this event?

Mini stop in La La Land…

I spent my Thanksgiving on the west side….Sacramento, San Francisco, (sorry-forgot to take pix) and ended it in LA aka LA LA Land. I can’t believe it’s been over 6mths since I had been back to the West Coast. For a bit, I was pretty much there every month. I guess, time flies when you’re having fun…or when you’re just freakin busy!
