SPOTLIGHT: Danny Roberts

My first SPOTLIGHT of the year is illustrator Danny Roberts. I stumbled onto his work in Vogue magazine a while back, and since then have been a huge fan. I LOVE the quirky cute feel of his work! How cool would it be to have your portrait painted by him?! Totally awesome…definitely on my “WISH LIST”.

January 25th, 2010- Last Night in Tokyo!

Our last night we went out to dinner and somehow ended up at a club, got our hair done to look like Barbie, & then danced the night away with the cutest & coolest Japanese girls! What a night….so much freakin fun! This was another one for the books!

TOKYO TIME!

JANUARY 22, 2010- TOKYO

It’s so nice to be back in TOKYO! I’m so happy that this time around I have more than 24hrs to see the city. 4days of work and play-Yaaaay! This is the best part about my job–getting to travel and see the world!!!

My first night in Tokyo…

Back in Hong Kong…All work, Lil Play!

JANUARY 20th, 2010- HONG KONG

Once a year I try to make a trip out to Hong Kong to source, meet with my vendors, and attend HK Fashion Week/World Boutique Show. Can’t believe it’s already that time again. Thank goodness Hong Kong is one of my favorite cities to visit.

The city never sleeps…

HK reminds me of NYC in many ways-lots of energy, everyone here grinds, and there’s always something open at 4am. I call it Asia’s New York.

First day back in HK…one word sums it up–PRODUCTIVE! I accomplished so much in 24 hours- wrapped up a bunch of vendor meetings, fell in LOVE with 6″ of ooh, la la and ended the night with a nice dinner & drinks with old & new friend (many hours of bantering, cracking jokes, & talking business. FUN Night!). I’m blessed that I get to travel for work, see the world, and meet interesting people. Thank you…Life is good.
