One of the biggest trends I’m loving this season is statement necklaces. On my lazy days I like to dress up a plain t-shirt or tank with a chunky necklace. It’s an easy way to spice things up!

And so the search begins…

In a few weeks I’m moving into my new home, an amazing apt in the financial district (yep, I’m moving further downtown). The best part about moving is getting the chance to start fresh and decorating my new place. I’ve been super excited about the move, because I want this to be my first real “grown up” apt. Your home is your sanctuary. It’s important to make it a place you look forward to coming home to after a long day to escape from the world.

I spent my Sunday furniture shopping in Soho. Oh my, so many options….so many ideas…and so freakin expensive! Check out some of the cool furniture I saw today…

I’m obsessed with this Milo Baugham shelf unit–Perfect for my new place!

Hmm,this table could possibly work.The base and round shape has a feminine feel that I like.

I’m in search of cool dining room chairs.This one is cool,but may be too bulky for my new place.

I definitely want to upholster some furniture in my apt using printed fabric.

This one is funky, just not sure if it’s going to flow with the rest of the apt.

DESIGN WEEK in NYC- Part III

I stopped by a few Design Week parties in SOHO after work on Monday. Since my office is in SOHO, it was a hop-skip-and jump away!

I finally made it over to the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) Design Show at the Javitz Center on Sunday. Being that I’m a huge modern furniture fan, this was a trade show I didn’t want to miss out on! I LOVE Sleek-Clean-Cutting edge designs!

Design Week in NYC – Part I

I am a HUGE fan of modern furniture! One of the things I always look forward to every year in NYC is Design Week. It’s always so refreshing to check out other creative industries outside of fashion. I find it so inspiring! Besides checking out the cool furnishings at the ICFF show, I LOVE attending all the cool parties all week long. Free food, free drinks, and free goodies…how could I say no right?

My LOVE for CHANEL…

I met up with my friend Tracy while I was in LA. The last time I saw Tracy was a few years ago in Hong Kong. It’s crazy how fast time flies, because it really felt like it was just yesterday we were in HK hanging out in her shop-TRACE (one of my first HK accts!). Fast forward 3yrs later, we’re in LA having drinks and Tracy is telling me all about her new exciting projects.

Tracy had the cutest pair of CHANEL earrings on when we met for dinner. Every fashionista loves CHANEL! If you’re going to splurge on any brand, you can never go wrong with CHANEL because the pieces are classic!

BadAss Balmain!!!

Every fashionista has been drooling over these Balmain shoes. They’re so freakin HOT, but will cost you a fortune-$2300! The crazy part is that they’re practically sold out everywhere! Wow! I was so bummed that the knock offs from Zaras got pulled off the shelves before I even got my hands on them . Those of you who were lucky enough to snatch a pair (TRACY!)….I envy you:)!
